Bourton-on-the-Water is known as the Venice of the Cotswolds, so we brought Venice here in food form. Fresh, homemade Italian on the riverside, for families, day trippers and locals alike.

Bourton-on-the-Water is called the Venice of the Cotswolds, and that gave us our idea. What better way to live up to the name than to bring Venice to Bourton in food form? So that is what we do, every day, in our spot on the riverside, just across the little bridge.

One word comes up again and again: homemade. Guests describe proper home-cooked Italian with something for everyone, from ravioli and soups to steaks and puddings.
People talk about the welcome as much as the food. The staff are described as friendly and the room as relaxed and casual, a place families feel at ease.
The setting keeps winning people over: a charming find right in front of the river, and a good alternative to the traditional pub meal in the village.
